Services include:
- Advocacy
- Form-filling assistance
- Accompanying guests to meetings
- Resourcing guests with food, clothing etc
- Mentoring
- Regular weekly evening and daytime sessions
Wycombe Winter Night Shelter - Nourishing and Sheltering
WHC manages teams of volunteers between January and March to provide emergency accommodation for guests referred by partner agencies. The Shelter rotates around seven churches in the centre of Wycombe – guests receive a hot evening meal, a bed for the night and a cooked breakfast. In addition, the Shelter provides conversation, friendship and the offer of support to help guests begin to address the problems they face.
