Job opportunity: Support Worker 2019 was a record-breaking year for Wycombe Homeless Connection. We saw more people than ever before in our Support Centre, we stopped more evictions than we ever have, and have resettled increasing amounts of people into safer, more secure accommodation. But we know this also means the need for our services is growing. And that's why we are recruiting for a Support Worker. As a Support Worker, you’ll be part of a team delivering effective and high quality services to adults who are homeless or under threat of homelessness. You will play a crucial role, working directly with clients to provide a person-centred approach to support and homelessness prevention. We are an award-winning charity serving hundreds of people who are homeless or at risk of homelessness and hold the Queen's Award for Voluntary Service. Due to the nature of the role there is an Occupational Requirement in line with the Equality Act 2010 for the post holder to be a Christian.
