The numbers are in for the last quarter of 2016.

In our Support Centre, we had more visits than ever before. Almost 15 people came on an average day.

During those three months, we helped 194 people, an increase of 20% on the same period in the previous year.

Among that group were more female guests than ever before. More than a third of the people we helped were women. This is a negative trend, as women are especially vulnerable when homeless.

During 2016 as a whole, our staff and volunteers delivered almost 2900 instances of support – the highest ever annual number.

We’d like to see the numbers go down. Unfortunately we don’t see that happening any time soon.
